Description of A Process on Dissolving Knots

Dissolving knots or sutures is a process that medical doctors use for various of reasons. I will give a description of a process on dissolving knots or sutures. The process of dissolving knots or sutures in the mouth are most commonly used when teeth have been pulled. Once the sutures have been placed, it takes approximately anywhere from 5 days to 14 days of healing. Once the sutures are placed, they hold the spot together.

The process of sutures is that once it is in place, the sutures will hold the skin together. As the sutures hold the skin together, the stitches begin to dissolve underneath the skin. As it heals underneath the skin, the knot on top of the skin will soon break off after it has healed in the necessary time. The healing process can be slowed down in many ways like sipping out of a straw or using mouth wash.

If you ask yourself what is the purpose of knots, you may think that knots aren’t really hard to tie. Well, knots are used in many different occasions for different purposes. For instance, the U.S. Navy uses a variety of knots for different uses. An example would be a Monkey’s Fist. A Monkey’s Fist looks somewhat of a paw or a fist and it is generally used for a weight that hangs at the end of a line. It can also be an ornamental piece as well, like a key chain. But mainly, this type of knot was used by the sailors back in the days as a weapon. The Navy uses it to throw overboard to the docks to be moored up. The Monkey’s Fist would be at one end of the line while being tied to the railing with the bowline knot.

The line to make a Monkey Fist should not be made out of light line but not too heavy of a line either. The knot can easily fit in the palm of your hand. Monkey Fist is a knot that can also be known to hide small valuables inside the middle of it as well.

It is simple to make a Monkey Fist as well. You can either use a small u-shaped metal piece or use your fingers to start it off. First, you wrap the line around your fingers three times and take the end piece and pull it through the middle three times. Then you take the end again and pass it through the middle again and lock in the previous lines. Continue to do this until there are 3 lines on each side of the fist. In the end, it actually looks like a Monkey’s Fist. Depending on the string will determine the weight of it for different purposes.
